Thoughts and Hopes
The link says that Obama’s grandmother’s health “has deteriorated to the point where her situation is very serious.” Obama is canceling some events to fly back to Hawaii to see her. From what the article seems, his 85 year old grandmother very well might die soon. Obama has talked about how much this woman invested in his education, his personhood, and his development as a human being.
Two things:
1) I hope that his grandmother lives long enough to see her grandson elected president. If anyone has earned that special honor, it is her.
2) If she doesn’t have two weeks to live, then I hope Obama makes it back to Hawaii in time to say goodbye.
I hope people keep the Obamas in their thoughts, prayers, hopes, etc.
