Sarah Palin is stunningly shameless in her hunger for the spotlight as she inserts herself into her daughter’s first interview as an adult. Creepy is really the right word for the vibe you get from watching this. Bristol was being your typical 18 year old and asserting some independence by doing her own interview, barely giving her mom any notice, and claiming that her reproductive choices were her own. Then mommy pops in to get as much face time with the camera as she can while steering the conversation toward politics. Lame.
And the line she entered with: “Do you want this joy?” Is it just me or did that sound like The Stepford Wives to anyone else?
